Her sacrifice to sign La-Rouge's deeds over to her mates was beyond his expectations..no doubt was any longer that her feelings were also real and not just gratitude for saving her.. She meant the world to him and wanted to offer her all she deserved but he just couldn't let her know yet..not till he had found a way to clear his name and her conviction.. His biggest fear was her regrets, he dreaded any possibility of ever letting her down or loosing her.. So he kept on strocking her hair in silence..while Anne was fighting back her tears..
