Stunning...simply stunning....
WOW.........WOW..........WOW.........WOW! Have I said that enough times? lol Awesome pic, man. I'd say that this is the best "forest" scene that I've ever seen. I duno if everyone would agree, but I'm certain that no one comes accross such a well done picture very often!
Very nice work. You have the outdoors down, I think. How are you doing your grasses and shrubs and smaller plants? Keep up the good stuff. Always enjoy seeing your renders.
Wow!! Great textures, plants, etc. I love the POV Most excellent!!
Beautiful and very natural. Thank you for showing us this.
Exceptional !
This is really quite beautiful!
Breathtakingly beautiful..this is superb! bravo to you, my friend! *V
Wow. That just looks so real. You must share with us how you did this.
excelent
Underbrush, schrubbery, undergrowth, DOF and atmosphere are consistently excellent. Tuts for forestry would be great! You have clearly mastered forest imagery! V
Fine work on this wonderfully creative image.
Completely Outstanding texture work! How Much is rendered, How much of it is from Photos textures, and how much of it is painted? And when do we get a TUTORIAL?!! Stunning job.
This image is beautiful! EXCELLENT WORK :)
Excellent!
Thanks for all the great comments. The forest is a mixture of techniques. The tall pine treeline in front of the Granite Mountain is 2d pic objects. Some Bryce trees were placed in front of those for fill in and foliage, but we don't want to see much of their trunk or branches because its so digital looking. The nice tall trunks were made by me in amorphium. Horns on dragon were made in Amorphium same as trunks. Detailed branches were made using a technique I developed utilizing digital photos, photoshop, and bryce. Thats what is used in the extreme foreground branch in front of the rock, (the brownish one pointing up, not the greenish bryce branches) it also makes the branches at the top of the tree in the center of the picture with no leaves. Grass is a really good texture (that Ive used to death, see it in Ruins at Lake Kalakuhl) mixed with some post work drawn grass. Lots of post work on this picture for details and lighting. Tutorial huh? Thanks again for the encouraging comments.
Amazzing scene setup and lightning. I also agree about the texture work. You did an amazing job - bravo! :)
A wonderful dragon pic and I'm very impressed of your technique. Excellent work!
Fantastic work man! The colors and sceen is fantastic. What a wondrfull forest. Foilage and textures are on the spot! :D
Wow, I love the textures in this scene. If it weren't for the dragon I'd think I was standing in a forest right now.
Beautiful! Very magical scene! vote
Congratulations on your trees - they are fantastic. Best I've seen done in Bryce, ingenious way of composing them. Your textures are excellent too.
Fantastic forest. Great composition and technique.
Mixed digital medium taken to the extreme...the ingredients are just as staggering as the image!!! Top Job!!!!
Beautiful. It is so well put together it is seamless. Trees and foliage are WOW!
Lovely tree, rock, and material work! And an excellent composition. Only thing that bugs me is the Mil Dragon's ambience, methinks you have it up too high. It nearly seems like a 2D over-under-lay? Still, a beautiful piece, a masterpiece!
Beautiful fantasy picture!!!Superb work!!v
Wonderful image...very well done !
Stunning artwork! Beautiful color tone! V
Gorgeous scene!!!!!
