Description
After a relatively long time of uninspireness i was able to swing my brain back into that. A study in mood more or less. So not much to say to that really, i hope to be able to post a little more the next weeks.
Looking back to the last weeks and my Vue results, i think i should revitalise my idea of the Cold20. The worst attemps we have on our disks. Wouldn't it be fun? I am sure i have some winners here. On the other hand, this would probably create almost as much jealousy and snobbism as the original Hot20.
Ok, who is who here? JS Software bridge from Freestuff here (provided by ape50), dolled up with RDNA whitchappel lamps; background is completely Rodluc - village, castle and cathedral; SAMS3D raft with Poser 4 man and DAZ pirate; not to forget one of Deadheads atmospheres, just a little modified by moi. Uff, the little rest is me, my ol' Mac and Vue Infinite. Oh, 1GB RAM on that machine. 1 afternoon for setup, 1h 28 rendertime in superiour - not too bad i think.

Love the atmosphere here, Walther! It's a beautiful composition, the fog and lights are very well done. Wonderful!!
Love the foggy atmosphere along with the excellent composition!! Fantastic Job Wabe..
Cool mood, love the fog, looks like white chappel 1888 to me,Jacks back!!
Very dramatic, my friend. I like the way you can only just make out the buildings in the background. Excellent atmosphere and the fog is great. Keep up the good work:)
Great work Walther, it reminds me some old Sherlock Holmes movies :)
Great mood on it (where's Jack ?). I would just add some depth of field to focuse on the raft.
Very impressive artwork! Mood, lights, concept... A masterpiece! V
This is a beauty Walther. Great mood creation and the simplicity of the color scheme works beautifully. A most convincing scene.
Wonderful image, love the misty moody feel and the street lights - excellent
Very spooky and atmospheric, Walther...makes me think Jack the Ripper will walk across the bridge any minute; realy excellent foggy feeling.
This could be the St-Charles bridge in Praha ... Reminds me Kafka's 'Castle'. Kafka's house is just between this bridge and the castle on the hill... cool mood ... brrr.... :-)
A wonderfully mysterious and moody atmosphere - gives me the shivers - so it must be perfect for the "Cold 20". :o) CC
excellent atmosphere and pov in this. It looks like a cold London morning.
WOW! Marvellous mood in this one, wabe. Excellent work. I love the little lanterns. :)

~Magical & Evocative~ Ambience & lighting are Superb... EXCELLENT!! v
This image's got the mood for shure...actually a very gloomy one. ;) Good to hear you got over the uninspiriness. I think this happens to all of us from time to time, so no need to worry. Love the glowing lanterns btw. Well done, Walther!
Fabulous lighting and mood here! I love the foggy atmosphere. I am really happy to see you posting again. Since we don't have a Cold 20, I guess I will just have to vote this one into the Hot 20!
Love the Cold20 idea, personally I'd have it nailed with my vueinf junk. Ah well. This inspires me - the lighting hiting the background roofs is just the touch to draw the eye all the way in to the scene. Excellent work, and a vote for the hot 20.
i agree with several comments above. excellent mood and scene.
XLT atmos & fog. Fantastic composition :)
Wonderful piece... mood, composition, everything! :)
Great mood piece, the fog is great - the guys on the raft look lost! Well done Walther!
You got it just right Walther! Verrrry cold. An excellent study in atmosphere. Love it :)
Liebe Gre an Alle #:O)
Fantastic fog effects. Love the composition
Nice work, there is something of a dark mood to this scene for me.
