Thank you very much - it took some doing but I learnt hell of a lot on the way. I tend to fiddle and find I learn a lot more like that than reading tutorials and manuals. I never even bother with manuals for hi-fi's tv's and stuff :0)

First?!? Apparently, you're a prodigy! 9 months and I can't touch spheres like that! That spiral in the background is absolutely amazing as are the patterns on the spheres. Totally WELL DONE & CONGRATS on such a fine image!!!
If this is your first attempt at UF, I shudder to think about what is to follow! This is unbelievably fantastic and mindblowing! V
A dab with a basic white (or light hue from the sphere) soft brush for the sheen and a dab again with a basic soft brush for the shadow in black (adjusting the opacity) - size of brush dependant on the size of the sphere, and bobs your uncle. It took me hours to work out that was all I needed to do. I think getting the pearls just right took the longest.
