Description
Here is the third in the Tiny Flowers series. Again, I almost missed this one. I would not have seen it if I hadn't been working in the garden. There is a ground cover that grows like a weedy vine into my flower beds. Usually I just tear it out and put it into the compost, but I took a closer look and discovered these tiny, bizarre little blue flowers.
I am fascinated by their structure. Even in the macro it is hard to make out exactly how they are formed. They remind me of either a sugary blue pastry puff, or of mini stellar nebula. Who knows, maybe to some minute organisms we cannot even see, these are their equivalent of nebulas in space. It is all a matter of scale, not size. Looking up to the heaven and looking within are not so very different. ;o]

Wow!!! This is an excellent, colorful macro.
Magnificent image, they remind me of a universe with a drop of blue water. Superb! V
sometimes I think that creation has a fractal structure - the little things are as awesome as the vastest ....
Fantastic macro, very impressive and well done!!
Very delicate! I think they have the same shape as the Bleeding Heart flower...it kind of looks like a puffy purse but folds back a bit. Excellent capture! That blue I think is what used to be labeled "cornflower blue".
Looks like a precious stone, a ring for circle your eyes :-)
So beautiful deep blue in this excellent macro!!! :)
Rebirth of nature. Cheer ;)
These are sure some weird one but definately beautiful too !! :o) Wonderful capture again !!
Another excellent tiny flower! Fascinating structure and detail - must say your garden sounds amazing, perhaps you should let these 'weeds' grow freely!

What we miss when not paying attention is the very beauty of nature. This series should remind us that we should pay closer attention to that which is around us. Very well done Kort.

Beautiful colors. Excellent Job. Aloha
Fantastic macro! I am always impresed by tiny flowers, and how extraordinary they can be.
super macro!
A little universe on it's own, a galaxy with it's own structure... sigh To boldly go where no one has gone before - just in the garden LOL! :) Great finds, Kort, very impressive! It demands humility because these flowers cannot be seen unless you go on your knees! ;)
Amazing microworld!!
