Description
A cold wind, the disturbed lake, a dark gray sky, a distant setting sun, a long winter night, first raindrop on the face, an approaching storm, a quickened pace homeward. The front door, the warmth, the smell of fresh coffee, a fire in the fireplace, a patchwork quilt, the sound of the rain on the roof, a lover, all the time in the world.

What a great moment, I am enjoying just that as I type. So cold and wet today! The smell of the fire when I opened the door...sorry no coffee at 5pm....Merlot, room temp... Great image Dave, and a very, very fitting moment. (=
True, a sweet moment in time, the kind that will curl around your mind when you're alone and in need of comfort to come.
