Description
- Scotland, Dalmally -
There is a wide range of monuments in the graveyard which surrounds the Glenorchy Church in Dalmally, with dates from the 15th century on. Knights and many clans and families are represented, chief among them being Campbells, Macgregors, MacIntyres and Macnabs.

An interesting picture..Great capture* :)
One doesn't see such wonderfully ornate head stones anymore. They are true monuments to times past. Esp taken with how the stones have aged.
The monochrome is perfect for setting the mood to this capture. Brilliantly done. Tks Rita :^)
Mmmm. I love graveyards. I sleep in several over night, as I felt it was the safest place. One was in Ireland and I was hoping for the spirit of Yeats to rise and whisper a few words. No such luck, but I had a great time. However, I will comment on the conversion to B&W. The contrast level for me is a little to harsh for the over all feel of the setting. I would revisit the postwork and try for a more ballance subtle approach. Try it in CMYK then RGB mode. Still I like the image, as I realy love grave yards. V
Amazing shot! Thanks for sharing!Wonderful!!
oh, wonderful filter: it fits perfectly in the cemetary frame and give a great depth. smell of memories, very nostalgic, very reflexive.
Eventually all meet their fate, the inevitable death that brings together people from different generations. Impressive to look down on this part of history! Excellent work, Rita!
Very beautiful shot, wonderful place!!!! Excellent!!!!
Love graveyards..... those gravestones are beautiful!
Beautiful graveyard!!Excellent!!
i luv graveyards and this one is magnificent! gives me shivers!!!!
Beautiful moody sepia toned picture. How nice can a graveyard be.. considering this picture very nice and creepy at the same time.
