Great stuff, some of the scales near the eye seem a bit square though.
I made them that way on the top of the head and back. The wrap over a bit.

The lizard look has come through very well. In the previous frame he was tossing his head around and now it is his tail as he prepares to lunge at something off camera, eyes focussed.
