- Scotland, Ben Cruachan -
The next day I in vain waited for better weather. There only were few days before my vacation would come to an end and I was forced to hike in heavy rain.
Some days ago I tried to find the path up to the place you see here but it ended in a lost area covered by almost manhigh wet fern and I was wet to the skin. I was very mad about that inability.
This day I found the path up to the Cruachan Power Station hidden deep within the mountain of Ben Cruachan on the shores of Loch Awe.
On the way up I had a wonderful view over the area but when I reached the dam there was nothing else to see because I stood before a wall of deep clouds and fog! ;o(
But the mighty silence and roughness around appears unreally.
