Description
This male kitty came to this house early last year..just two months after a dearly loved girl cat had passed on to God's heaven.
Sure, the plan is to take the cat to the vets, get it ready and find a home..the cats know better and as with Bennie aleready this IS his home. We found later that someone had clipped some of his whiskers and cut his front claws to bloody messes. He must have gotten away just in time. Yikes!
The paws are fine now, claws and all. He jumps very high and is a delight to all but one other kitty competing for top cat.
As for the image, this is my second attempt at a "pet portrait" done at home. I will learn to do better but for now...for now this is going into the gallery.
TomDart. peace and blessings to all.

oh god. I hope people caught the culprit. anyways, Bernie looks like an angel. :) I am glad he thinks you and your house is his home :):)
Beautiful cat. He certainly looks like he's at home. Guess he's decided to adopt you as his family. Congrats on the new addition.
really do think this is an excellent shot & compo!... the b&w patterns & frame to match the eyes, font is nice too... really can't suggest a thing to improve here... except i think you'd get more comments on posting the whole pic for the thumb cuz it's worth seeing & he's one lucky cat to have found you! :]
He's beautiful!! I love the matching blanket he sits on. Nicely composed!!! I am glad he found you!!!
Lovely portrait, beautiful cat
Such a beautiful cat. I'm glad he found a home at your place. Great job you did!
He certainly chooses the right, becoming plaid to lie on, cats have a great sense of that. Wonderful study in black and white, just his eyes glow.
Oh my gosh ... what a gorgeous portrait of this BEAUTIFUL cat!!!! Gorgeous markings and his eyes are soooo awesome. XX
The 'cattitude' says I am home! You don't have a choice when they choose you:-) at least I never have had...love at first purr!
