Description
I made this image first for the 2D theme Typography, but did not post it then.
The idea came to me looking at those words that seem to have some religious meaning.
I tried to imagine a girl who is raised in a strict religious family.
Suddenly she is revolting, tired of all words that has no meaning for her any longer.
She tries to escape, but words are echoing in her.
She gets desperate.
I have to add that this is not anything I have experienced,
I just tried to creep into her skin.

....great image! --- when I first looked at it - minus your comments -- I thought of her being constantly talked to by her mate --- him always talking - but saying nothing - ( going round and round...until she couldn't take it anymore! ) --- so - I think this image is one that lots of people will relate to in their own way --- very nice work!

It must be quite overwhelming... a few of my friends have been there... I'm thankful that my upbringing didn't involve any of this. You've really captured the emotion well... again!

What this really makes me think of is culture shock. In particular, I am forced to imagine what it must feel like to have another culture and belief system forced upon me. Your words and your image create an amazing amount of thoughts. Love it my friend!

I'm personally glad for the few words I heard so that I understood about God... I was raised by irreligious heathen (as opposed to self-righteous , religious heathen) and some of the other kind of words can be just as tough. Another thing... independence brings it's own responsibility...it's false freedom that sends people crazy! For me a provocative post.
Words are only words unless they have meaning to the person. There comes a time when a person has to use their own free thought to deside to beleive. This is a very powerful image. As a parent, I see it on different levels, not just religious. My son and I fight alot (again last night). It hurts so much, but we get nowhere. Just say the same words. ~lost
