Description
I have a friend who is working on some auto paint materials, so I was seeing how close I could get to the effects of a real gloss paint job. So far, I have not found a way to accomplish this effect in a single material, but I did come up with this method in the process. I duplicated all the red body parts and shifted them just a tiny bit toward the camera and then I applied a "gloss coat" material to the duplicates. That's all the hints I'll give for how I accomplished the glossy effects. One of the elements that help make this more realistic is the sky that is reflected.

57 Chevy is from Sparky (but with my materials - sorry, I'm not fond of pink).

Excellent color, mat amd reflection work George. Seems somewhat grainy as if you did not want it to render too long and used a lower setting. If true, I can certainly understand! LOL.
