Description
Back to my beloved Black & White :-)
I have always been fascinated by clouds; particularily the monstrous Cumulo-Nimbus that we sometimes have in Arizona that result in spectacular cloud bursts - Then, when the brilliant desert sun highlights these creatures of nature they become wonderous - and blastedly difficult to capture :-)
This was taken at about 45 degrees elevation towards the soutwest with the sun about 10 degrees further west. Exposure was at -0.60 EV, only post work was 5 percent increase in brightness and 10 percent increase in contrast. 4.3MP original image in Colour and converted to grayscale. Light sharpening after conversion and down sizing. No filtration.
Thank you all for taking your time to view my artistic scribblings. Your comments and suggestions are not only deeply appriciated but valued highly.
