Description
The heraldic hippocampus glows and the decorated self-mat was fun to create. Sometimes when we are
having fun and just making art for ourselves, something unexpectedly magical happens.
Prismacolor on black construction paper. I was just trying out my new colored pencils, and didn't expect it to turn out... after 20 years the paper is turning to dust and I'm not sure how much longer the original will last.
Always, always, ALWAYS use archival materials... even for a test piece!

Beautiful. At least you can keep it as a digital image. Not the same I know but the image is still beautiful.

Good drawing, and the frame blend perfectly.

Wow, this is truely gorgeous. Fantastic attention to detail. Beautiful work!
A lovely piece of work, the freedom of movement is beautiful. Yes, we do sometimes forget that 20 years down the line we might regret that we didn't take better care.
what a beautiful and creative fantasy impression out of a fairy tale storybook! gorgeous framed and presented leaf work! ;o)
