Just now an icebird lives in my heart
I hope the ice will melt soon.
I am sorry for not having commented
or been in touch for some days
Sometimes things are tough
muting me

The dormant sleeping pose leaves me, the audience, with assurance that the future will yield a sympathetic awakening. For now, though it is a frozen scene with upcoming hope. So it works for me on the levels of dreaming, healing, and eventually awakening and closure. On a sidenote I'd rather think of the bird as a phoenix, though everyone can clearly see it's most likely a dove.

The light in the birfdis so strong that it glows almost to the sad figure - but only almost. And although even the warm colours have a cold tone. The effect is touching!
