VERY VERY interesting and so well lit for indoors! This is awsome, thanks for sharing!
Indeed! very interesting shots!Superb finishing!
i have Celtic family roots. this is quite intesting. i especially like the effigy of the medieval knight.
First I saw the thumb.... I said in my mind : This is made by sossy. Then I looked at the author's name : It's SOSSY :)) Very interesting chamber I think and interesting collection of old "stuff". Impressive !
Sossy, I keep meaning to come visit your gallery but.....Anyway, this really caught my attention! I assume that these slabs were meant to lay on top of a tomb, not be tombstones or markers. I can't help but wonder why they are stored like this. Maybe they were never used, maybe replaced over time, maybe new laws called for reburials. Great looking shot, fascinating objects!
Lovely composition, magnificent detail with excellent colouration. Bravo, well done!
FANTASTIC find ...
Wonderful photo of ancient objects!!!
interesting and excellent POV...:) excellent p'graphy
fabulous image
What a find. Never would you see that where I live. Only thing I think they ruined is putting the glass roof on that building. Such a nice loking stonework.
An interesting place indeed. I would like to walk around and watch. Nice picture too.
Well done!! 2 thumbs ^ ,The guy carved in the stone kind'a looks like me...Excellent as always
How did you find this, Rita. Nice hunting. However, I think they may well be from the period 1200+ AD, not 1700 AD. I know that a couple I have seen on another website ( ww.darkisle.com/k/kilmartin/kilmartin.html )have dates in the early 1700s on them, but the style here is much earlier. Regards, John.
Fascinating subject... as well as the building they are housed in. Nice capture.
Oh, my, awesome. I really have to get some time to look at the rest of your pictures, but this made the quick stop by worthwhile!! Wonderful shot!

Well maybe 1700 is not exactly medieval... ;) but the shot is very interesting!
What I prefer in this culture is their music! But you've done a great shot...
Very interesting and excellent capture.
Excellent and interesting shot, Rita ! I like especially the liitle roof seen throught the window :)) And the postwork is perfect ! I know very well, how much work with Photoshop it is, to produce such a perfect mixture of difficult light-conditions. Ich ziehe bewundernd meine Kappe vor Dir :))
Ah yes wonderful, I did a B&W series on this place a few months back, excellent shot in very cramped conditions.
