Description
We were headed north out of Los Cruces. Just cruising around after a storm.
As she searched for a radio station, Rita said she someday wanted to see California.
I hadn't been out there since just after the war.
So, with a thermos full of coffee and couple of packs of smokes,
we turned left at Albuquerque and then we were gone.
And then we were gone.
