Description
The Art of Boolean (Part 41)
The wire-frame shows the engine section and connecting walkway with the Lander USS Chesapeake in its cradle riding the underbelly of the Shenandoah. The model was created in Bryce 5 from scratch. Thanks again for taking the time to view and comment on my work, more to come soon.
Cheers,
David

nice.. but looks like alot of freakin work to me.. can't wait to see a final render
Hi David. I'm trying to imagine how long it took you to do this model and what kind of system it takes to handle such a complex modelieng project. Nevertheless, the main thing that strikes me is the phenominal degree of patience it would take to assemble something like this. What really astonishes me is that you do this stuff using boolean operations alone. Incredible! Naturally I give this image a VOTE and congratulate you for a fantastic job.
I totally agree with RJC, please tell us what monster machine u using for these huge projects.. wow impressed, yes
Hey thanks guy for the comment, I have five sytems but, I believe that I created this image on a 3.2 Ghz P-4 machine with 2 Gigs of DDR 400 Ram and a ATI 128 MB 9800 Pro.
Look at all the pretty colours...
David, do you model the inside too, or am I just crazy?
Yeah, just astonishing! But looks sooo good! It's the patience part that is superhuman, plus a lot of talent;-)
This just amazes me in its details of all the work which had gone into it. I notice a lot of grouping and inter-grouping........would love to know how you would go about changing one aspect of something within this awesome structure, if its anything like mine when i de-select it all to change the item, the whole structure changes when regrouping!.....this must be a enormous task for you. Thankyou for sharing the 'behind the scenes' look. Well done VOTE
Every time, I am amazed anew!
