L'ensemble du vieux village est harmonieusement conçu, restauré avec soin avec des matériaux du pays. Vous vous baladerez avec plaisir dans les ruelles dallées de Vachères, vous croiserez de belles maisons de pierre, un prieuré rénové avec goût et des passages couverts qui donnent beaucoup de cachet au village.

Vachères is a typical perched village of the country of High Provence put in the middle of a protected nature which offers extraordinary landscapes: in the highlight of the municipality (910 m) you can admire a panorama on 7 departments!!!
The whole old village is harmoniously conceived, restored carefully with materials of the region. You will stroll with pleasure in alleys paved, you will cross beautiful stony houses, a �prieuré� renewed tastefully and covered passages.

I am familiar with this type of villages. They can be found everywhere in the Provence and that is one of the reasons I like this region so much. Very beautifu image !!. It precisely shows the charasteristics of the village.. !!
