Description

I use to work in metal sculpture and IMO, nothing in art is more graceful than Alexander Calder's mobiles. I've made many that hang from a ceiling, but I'd love to work in a huge scale like he did. This one isn't based on anything I've seen and isn't real practical, but it's fun to make it look workable. The dedication just seemed fitting. http://www.calder.org/

I am always amazed at your ability to take figurative words, thoughts and analogies, and present them for the eye to behold. Wonderful tribute! (=

If anyone could make this work, you would have to be the one I would expect to pull it off. Another triumph to be sure. And in the wake of this tragedy, all creative energy is not only appreciated but absolutely needed. Thank you for yours Frogdot.
