Description
I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?
Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.
Poem lyrics of The Arrow And The Song by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Is that true? Ooh... looks like he found out the hard way.
this is excellent
Been along time since I heard that poem! This experiment is the very reason all graphic files are pre-flighted before printing! :) Hope you had a Merry Christmas, Dave!
Infinity minus one step to the left is still infinity. Your net position change in zero. You should monitor this experiment whilst a buddy shoots the arrow.
except those folks whose renders go more than 12 hours..;) interesting work with the mountains..
Good story - shame about the guy...
And I thought Bryce was a flat earth environment frequented by flat earthers; excellent and witty interpretation of a classic poem.
Great poem, and cool pic. Too bad about that one experimenter though. :-)
