Description
For the December theme in 2D Forum
Spontaneous surroundings
OK, this is a photo from my yesterday walk.
I was hesitating to put the camera in my pocket,
thought it was such a gray day, nothing to shoot.
But even the gray day contains beauty.
Often we need to look in the camea eye
to really see what we otherwise overlook
and just unconcerned walk by.

I really like what you did with this photo gun. It has a very surreal, dreamy feel to it that I find particularly interesting... almost as if I have been there already in some moody subconscious sleep adventure. Great work my friend, I am always thrilled to see a fellow PSP 7 user in action:)
Beautiful observation & expression of the subtle & moody beauty to be seen on such grey days, lovely tones & hues, great work Gun ; )
Magnificent!!!
Beautiful shot Gun, and your postwork is wonderful. I feel I am looking at a watercolor painting!

I love these gray days! Excellent photo and postwork darlin! Like I said in the forum, it takes me back to those mornings I always long for, the ones where no one else dares wake up, and complain about it being too gloomy! I love those days, and I love this image! Cheers and nibbles, Jesse
You know my dream is like a river, Gun..ever changin' as it flows..And the dreamer's just a vessel that must follow where it goes..tryin' to learn from what's behind you, and never knowin' what's in store...make each day a constant battle, just to stay between the shores!!! And i will sail my vessel, my friend, till the river runs dry..like a bird upon the wind, these waters are my sky!!I'll never reach my destination..if i never try, so i will sail my vessel till the river runs dry!!!!!!!!! WOW, Fabulous, Gun!!! Yeah there can be Joy in the Grey, there can be Hope in the Grey, these both feelings expressin' themselves through the Peace of Mind, indeed......The effect you applied on this photo, my friend, is like the mirror of my dreams on my eyes glistenin' with tears!!!!!!!SPLENDOUR!!!......VOTE........BIG HUGS.......GUILLAUME.

Vey impressed with your work...just stunning...Thank you
Even though it was a gray day you really brought out the beauty with your image.
...nice watercoloury feel to this moody scene!
i agree 100% with your words. and this image is stunning!!!!! absolutely magnificent! vote!
wow! you transformed it into an excellent painting.good show!! very talented post work
Beautiful treatment Gun, it reminds me of a watercolour painting of a tree in my parents' lounge which was painted on tissue paper, the folds of the delicate surface being very conducive to the sensitive nature of the subject. Your texturing here is almost the digital equivalent, and the obscuring of the detail allows the mind to fill in the gaps so the viewer can behold their own personal scene. Lovely :-)
You have lifted this drab day with your post work I love the subtle use of colour in this guiding you through the image. Nice one as always Gun.
Wonderful !!!
