Description
Well I was out looking for thing to take pics of when I saw this guy. Its a Eastern Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa virginica), it was unusually warm today, warm enough I was walking around in shorts. I was out with my new toy when I saw this guy and had to take it off to get the shot. Their was no rush, this guy was very happy to be getting all the nectar he could on the unusually warm day. Hope you enjoy.
