I want to thank all the people who helped keep me inspired by viewing, commenting on my work, and help with my questions & projects. You know who you are. This is my 5th Terragen render I dug up from archive by the way. I was looking for "that image" that fit the mood.
good job. btw: when you dont care about rankings, why you activate the ranking option? ;-)

excellent words my sentiments too....And yes it would be awesome to get paid for expressing yourself by the way of art...but in the real world there will always be folks who have to get into the top 20 just by showing T&A or the big swang I personally have not done a pic that way and never will...and I also agree about always takeing your skill to the higher level everybody is still learning and there will always be better artists at useing programs than me but so what one day I will be as good if not better than them and I will always wish them the best always....Heck even my kid (who is 14)always makes comments to the effect dad you can do better or dad that person is better than you and I calmly reply yep BUT ONLY FOR NOW

Not sure what set you off but I agree with what you've said. I appreciate any artist who tries to create an original work far more than soemone who is technically perfect. Nice pic, BTW.

I can ... hahahaha (read as Renfield ... being frantic and looking around for a roach to eat - or smoke ... ???) Great philosophy Kid and a great picture too. I'll give it a 10 ... no a 9 ... oh wait, a 10 ... or a 10+ ... yea - that's the ticket - a ugh ... what was i talking about?
Wow sounds like me talking there kid.....lol Such beautiful words and a beautiful render background. Yes we all...or I think I am talking for the most of us artist here at renderosity ..mainly create because we have to. We are drawn into it because it's who we are and what we love to do. We may take reprieves from time to time but we keep pulling out the pens and ink...because we love expressing ourselves that way. We pull our ideas from within ourselves and expose our deepest feelings and desires hopeing no one will dig into it too deeply thus hurting us...but we put it up there anyway for we can't help ourselves. Do we want admiration....sure Do we want our stuff to be viewed and commented on sure! But we don't post for these things. We post to see if others share our feelings and thoughts. And we shall never perfect our work...no render is ever finished....no render is ever perfect. That is unfortunantly our fate as artists....we will always be developing our skills and striving for that absolute image that best reflects our feelings and desires. The world as we create it is always undergoing changes and growing...reflecting life and how we view it....:) Great words Kid....now take a bow......hehhehe.....!
