Very cozy feel to the room. Kind of get the grandmother's house impression :) Very nicely done
Very nice, and cozy room. Just enough details, and not over done. The colors, and lighting are well chosen. Welcome to posting, keep at it!
WOW, oh man is the lighting perfect!!this is a very relaxing scene, I just want to step through the door and sit in front of that fire!!VOTE

Wow! amazing detail - nice work.
Very nice work Burpee :)
Love the detail & lighting. Well done:)
Wow! So real! Hope to see more of your work real soon :))))
Nice scene setup! The only flaw i can see is the fire, both the fire itself and the light that would be cast from it. See how dark the chimney is...? Still, awesome texturing and lighting work...
Beautiful design work Nancy...As a lovely warm feeling to it...Excellent!!!...:)
Want to thank everyone again for the wonderful reception here and the blush producing comments you've all made. Really appreciate them. Shadowdragonlord, thanks for the hint. I never mind critiquing :) I put a lot of time into working with that spot but the flue area needs to be deeper to get the correct shadowing. I may try to fix that. If the fire had been just glowing embers it might have been ok.
I 'lurked' in varying degrees for about four months before I posted (or said anything) - wonderful first showing, very invitng.
Great image Burpee! Fantastic lighting job!
superb!
Wonderful picture with so many fine details, cozy and warm, very beautiful and excellent first showing**and welcome :)V
Beautifully detailed, I like the way the door is opening, it suggests someone about to enter, very evocative.
Beautiful scene. I love the lighting and the tones.
A very lovely scene. Just makes me want to sit in there and enjoy!
Quaint...Cozy....Relaxing feel to this image. I do agree with ShadowDragonLord about the lighting from the fire into the back of the chimney. The rest of the lighting is spot on IMO... Darn nice work Burpee!!!
first welcome to renderosity; sec this is a very good image I like the way the room looks. I can live there.
Way to come in with an explosion! Great work. I like the textures all around. I agree with all the above: I hope to see more of your work soon.
Well composed.
A lot of credits, but a warm and excellent arranged scene with very well placed models!
