Description
One of a pair of commissions I recently completed (and enjoyed immensely!) for the splash page of a fantasy gaming site. The final requirements were only 800x600, but I obviously rendered it higher for my own promotional use and for clarity! :) Sadly the site isn't live yet, so I cannot link to it for further reference.
The brief was to create a single scene with with both light and dark versions, each sharing the same landscape and setup, but with unique swords and differing texture treatments and lighting within the environments. I was particularly pleased with this one, but I might also post the other one tomorrow.
All modeled, textured and rendered in Cinema 4D 8.5XL and Bodypaint R2.
