Description
Those bygone days are just about gone. We lost one recently because developers just have that need to build a few hundred more houses wherever they see open space.

Yeah, so much for the good ole days! Now we have DVD's that desenigrate after one viewing.
Just talking about drive in movies a few weeks ago. They were the best! Loads of fun for everyone. THanks for the trip to the past. :)
Wonderfully interesting and surreal concept! I like it very much. It is sad to see the days of the drive in go, I have good memories of it. Times change, and your art captures that well.
I just totally love your work! This is particularly great. It reminds me of sitting on the wall as a kid watching a movie on the big screen until they sold the drive-in to put up a mini-mall. ACK! Keep up the wonderful work you are inspiring!
actually, more drive ins were built and reopened last year than in the last 20 years. Now if we could just get the studios to reinstitute the drive in B movie system again.
You are a neat guy, and I just love your work and this one is very exceptional and brought an instant smile and a million memories, and in my case, in Florida, all the mosquitoes and 612 you could fight....couln't even roller skate at the rink for them...see??? memories. You are a neat memory guy!!!!
brilliant scene, super concept and prentation, textur, colors and light! Perfect image!
this is cool .. amazing picture !!! color and material .. and the light are fantastic
Hmmm... make way good old days, for the good new days...
wonderful
Wonderful idea and gorgeous render!
Excellent! Maybe the car should be a bit more in the front of the scene to see it more clearly. Congrats!
I been to many of them love it
excellent concept and render!...the dusty old autos are very telling!
Wow, they sure have been waiting a long time. When's the movie start? Did you pick up some mosquito coils? How far to the concession stand? Can we find another spot, this speaker's not working...an era all its own. Wonderful details in the pic.
great atmosphere and true words
I think you're a genius Dave!
Wonderful conception expertly realised with vivid colours. It's so sad, I'm going to mix myself a sundowner.
Wonderful tribute to a passion I once had as a young girl.....ahhh....gone are the days. (=
Nice job! I remember seeing a movie at the 65-HI Drive-In in Blaine, MN, when I was little. I think that one's been lost to developers too. I think Cottage Grove is still open though -- of course right now all they're showing is "Closed for the Winter: The Blank Screen" :-)
