This is for my mother.
Thank you, Mom, for being there to comfort me when I was afraid or upset, thank you for being there to hold my hands as I took my first steps - both in the young adult realm and when I was just venturing the first years of my mortal life. Thank you for being my friend and my sister, thank you for always supporting me in the choices I've made and for your pride in some of the choices I haven't made. Thank you for your kind words about what I take seriously, and for not approving of some of the things I wanted that would have done me harm. Thank you for being my shoulder to lean on (and I express this thanks, most of all, in this image).
This is for you, ma. I love you.
