Description
Marineris Center is one of the larger Martian settlements in the huge Marineris Valles chasma system. It is situated approximately an equal distance between the northern and southern rims. Neither rim of the chasma can be seen from Marineris Center. They are hundreds of kilometers beyond the horizon in either direction. The main transport system, the monorail runs directly through the city.
