Description

My first image with C4D. I got the app about 3-4 months ago but up until now I've used it mainly for modeling and then doing the renders in Bryce. This time I decided to use C4D all the way -- modeling, texturing and rendering. The scene took about two days (or evenings) to compose and the render time (800x800 at 72 dpi) took about 3 minutes. Comments welcome!

Beautiful render! C4D has one of the best render engines out there. Plus it's fairly fast. You can do way more with it than bryce(dont get me wrong Bryce is nice). And from the looks of this pic you have the talent and imagination to get the most out C4D. Excellent!

Beautiful work, I love the attention to detail and the book textures are amazing! I don't think you can beat C4d for rendering, it is marvellous. Great image.

Great really! Beautiful textures. You have done well on getting that old antique look of books and paper writings. Wonderful!

hi. very good texturing and lighting! the only thing to criticise is the black corner top-left! it looks like being cut out or left blanc for a real photo composition...
