Description
I was fussing around with something to make for my RIM article and these came out cool enough that I thought I'd post them.
No technical work here, just fun.

Just Impressive,Scott, realistic at all level, finish, shape, one unit with light/shadow...Just wanna fly with 'em...........AWESOME..V....Thank you for this very nice render.....................SG
This came out very well!
i love those colors. may be the reflection is too " high" for a ballon texture like those ones. but may be i'wrong. great coroful picture.
mmm... colors.... :)... I might have to agree about the reflections, but since this is such a simple and fun render, I won't. ;o)... Thanks for sharing...
Great comments on the reflection issue. Some balloons are very reflective, others are not. No way to really tell what to do. Just picked something that looked neat. I do have a touch of transparency in the textures. The 1600X1200 render on my 1.4 Gig laptop took 11 hours! Sheesh! Just for a few balloons! I still love this image though. Simple but tons of cool memories and fun. It's hard to hate a balloon!
You could have had 99 red ones, but this is still excellent.
The simple things are always the best:-)
very good job
