Trying out the combination of code from two different effects - the Gnarl texture has some new features. And my UCL needs eternal load times... At first I tried with the new Newton Twirl, but two slow partners together...

Is it really pinkish? I didn't intend that... And I was sooo proud of the white glow coming from behind the spiral. Did anyone notice it?

As the white blends into the warm brown there is a hint of pink to my eye. Strong texture.
The texture is astonishing! I did notice the depth created by 'backlighting' the spiral, but it does have a very faint pinkish cast to it in the upper 2/3 of the spiral. It enhances the image quite nicely IMO.

This is beautiful Andreas. The warm colours and textures are superb. The white backlighting glow does have a slight pink cast to it which blends perfectly with the rest of the colour scheme. Excellent image.

As I see it it has the look of something being born and growing right in front of me. It has a very expansive look and seems to be telling me that there's much more of itself outside the frame. Like it a lot!
