I just love how this one came out.. as it should be, for taking me literally all day to do.
This one is for Blue Lotus. Shes a totally cool chicka who I have much in common with... we share of love of astrology and a passion for ancient Egypt. So naturally, I had to make an Egyptian type pic for her.
The name may seem weird... but its my favorite Egyptian name of all. Some even say that Smenkhare, a Pharaoh who reigned right after Akenaten, was really Queen Nefertiti in disguise as a man. Women werent allowed to rule solitarily or as Pharaohs... the entire history of Egypt only boasts 6 in total.

On average, I do about one a day (sorta like vitamins giggles) sometimes, I can pull off two.... tho theyre usually more simple than this. This one literally took me almost 12 hrs to do tho (off and on)... that is by no means quick LOL

Fantastic composition, the background works perfect with the character. Although its not shown in the image, i cant help imagining the desert, can almost hear its sounds at night and smell the fresh air :) Excellent work!!
