The old-man comes to the shoreline of the sea
before the sun awakes from dreams...
The old-man is a fisher and the only friend the sea
and everyday he tries to angle for a seagull's heart
The old-man fishes for pleasure or for need -
yesterday was crying: "There's no fish in sea"
The old-man is a loner, he is the morning king
the scepter is his angle, the rock is throne for him
The old-man is God and he tries to get away
from His world of angels full of sins and pain...

Wonderful image and poem!!!!!!!! Interesting that you posted this poem...about the old man being God. I'm working on something right now called "one of us"...based on that song Joan Osborne sings..."What if God was one of Us???" Anyway, now that I see your image, I'm thinking mine is SO lacking!!!!
