This is so wonderful how you changed the colors and textures! It is a pleasing picture!
I agree with BrasilGirl2004. It has a beautiful quality found in Japanese manga illustrations.
Beautiful work Dirk! I really like the colors and the different object and patterns here. Well done! V (:
Lots of great details, Excellent artwork!!
Oh I love this...what a wonderful sense of movement this has! I must say though...I feel like I'm dodging bullets!! LOL ;o)
Yeeeooowwww! DUCK! This is so EXCITING! I just took a deep breath. It helps sometimes, to remind me that I am alive! Nice one, Dirk.
My gosh, they do look like bullets or bombs! Love the intersecting rings.. complex image and full of energy.
It does looks like bullets flying straight at me! Love the interlocking rings and spirals. Excellent work. I want to create things like this someday!
This is such a powerful image, Dirk. I love the way you've spiralled out from the color of birth... through the busy years... and into an almost monotone of old age... where the bullets of loss, pain and (sometimes) regret are coming at you pretty much constantly. It's an awesome render in every way!! :)
A most wonderful creation, such amazing movement and awesome colors =) And the phrase at the bottom is so right on... ~V~
Kind of like looking down the barrel of a machine gun. Super shapes and movement. Great composition Dirk!
Fantastic image, Dirk! Love the flying projectiles and especially the center of the spiral!
Excellent image, very impressive and emotional work. Equally impressive is your poetry, each verse very appropriate for the accompanying image. I guess that this is the wonder, or curse, of the human spirit. Experiencing the death of loved ones and unknown ones, knowing our time is limited and ultimately but a speck of dust, we continue on with our daily routines, trying to find some meaning in the meaninglessness of our existence. Even Bob Dylan once said, "he not busy being born is busy dying." We keep on breathing, putting one foot in front of the other to move, knowing all along that there is no place to hide. Courageous, spiritual, meaningless...I sure don't know.
Very beautiful!! :)
Je vois une magnifique spirale au centre, j'aime aussi les objets alentour et les formes! les lignes donnent un effet 3D. Tr belles couleures v Excellent travail :)
Beautiful! The quiet colours suit this format.
Really cool
Fantastic!! It is jumping out of my screen!!

Wow! You've got concentric spirals of hoops, tubes, rays, rods, rollers, cylinders . . everything but the kitchen sink in this image and it still comes together beautifully and harmoniously. Glad to see you posting new work again! Excellent! Rik
this image is gorgeous and soooo well done...and the words under it fascinate me just as much. They are always so "deep". Thank you for making me stop and think..

Nice one, Dirk! Has the look of colored pencil. Intriguing how you've positioned the shapes that make this spiral.
