This looks so strange!! I thought it was a 3D dragonfly! I would have never guessed it was a photography!! So original and interesting!! Thx for sharing this most unusual shot Eric! :)
Ah, its a 'green darner'! I have one in my gallery too =) Great catch =)
Clearly the 'one eyed buck tooth taxi cab hailer' species--A very nice shot and proof there is beauty everywhere for me to mis-caption:-D
Huh !? This looks really weird, looks like it is on the raster while its wings are behind it... lol :o) Excellent shot though !!
It is wonderful... there used to be alot of neat dragonflies around here, but not anymore... they musta all migrated to where you live!! lol
Sorry folks, perhaps I need to explain..I outlined the dragonfly in PhotoShop 6 with the path tool, seperated it from the background, then I desaturated the background and knocked it back so it wouldn't compete with the dragonfly. So it looks a little weird. ;)
amazing image. i like your postwork and idea,Eric. !!!!!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!
what a beautiful jewel in color! like your optical illusion here too! :] doubletake!
Very nice colors of that little creature! Excellent shot!!!*
cool lookin bug, I like the way you post worked it also. Umm, hate to ask, but how close to actual size is that?
Fantastic shot, and terrific postwork, most unusual and excellent !!! VOTE
So I see dragonflies are in vogue now...and yours is GREAT!!!
It's amazing something in those colors can be made by nature. I haven't seen the original image so I can't say for certain, but the postworked background seems to flatten the image somehow. Still, great capture of the dragonfly. That is really beautiful.
