Description
This took a very, very, very long time and is one of the most complicated, intricate, time consuming and painstaking pieces I've ever done.
I thought hey... why not do something really challenging, with lots and LOTS of Ivy (I like Ivy).
So this happened, I'm very proud of it Especially the dress, I was attempting to achieve a kind of shimmery-slippery-shiny-satin material and I'm chuffed at how it turned out.
It took two weeks on and off due to rainy weather (rush inside) then sunny weather (rush outside) and many late nights (bad, bad, bad).
Painted with wacom in Paintshop (photos for reference) then different types of blur filters applied to areas of duplicate layers in Photoshop to create a sense of realism/depth/light haze through the windows.
And yes.... they're both female, it makes a nice change.

Well all that time and painstaking hard work has DEFINITELY PAID OFF :O) Your use of lighting and depth are perfection...the softness is subtle and alluring...the expressions on their faces are timid and relaxed...and that ivy OMG the variance in color is remarkable...I am SO VERY IMPRESSED this truely is a work of art!!! I would love to see the full size image and would expect to see this in a museum hanging with other remarkable paintings...and as for two girls...well we see everything else...why not :O) SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT!!!! I guess it's time well spent ;) The dress is ineed looking great. You textured it really well and it has a shiny silk look. Also the way you made the dress fall and fold around her body is done magnificently. The onlt thing that looks a bit weird is the hand of the girl with the white shirt (could be the resizing though), since it looks a bit round.
