Description
In this image I was playing with AlphaPlanes again. Expecially since the debate on the forum regarding thier use in Vue images. it is amazing the amount of Cloud and sky Alpha's being used now!
I must say that I personally enjoy using them, and have ever since I learned to, by following Gebe's tutorial. Their use have saved me quite a bit of funds, as thousand of photos which I have taken over the past 50 years can be made use of.
*****
The leopard is from the Vue program disks, the parrots and the forest background are AlphaPlanes.

stunning, absolutely stunning...nothing else can be said. bobby
Fantastic image, Joe. I too, like alpha planes. To me Art is about "what you create" not "how" you create it. This is spectacular ARY. Happy Holidays. cheerio lululee

Absolutely superb, the best I've seen..PERFECT WORK !!!!! Massive VOTE
Outstanding use of alpha planes. Art should not be limited by your tools. Imagination is the only limitation.

Wonderful image! Excellent use of alphas .. very beautiful work!
Wonderful Joe, looks very realistic and I love the colorful parrots!
~~Amazing~~ It looks so REAL that seems to be a photo!! Beautifully done!!
It is really difficult to see, what is a photo and what is Vue. Perfect work.
Thanks all for your comments. I have found that if you make clean alphas and get your lighting right it is difficult to tell that it is not a photograph, but the key is the alpha has to be clean! making good Alphas is time consuming work.
Looks 100% realistic - Bravo
