Description
Pike braced himself. So this would be the end, no visiting other star systems, no exciting exploits like Captain April or Garth. Will it be pain and then blackness? He prepared himself to know now. Through a slow moving blur, Pike could see Simpson smile and raise his phaser. Simpson looked both relieved and triumphant as he pointed the nozzle at Pike .
