Thank you for the many years of help and friendship, and for the inspirations and wonderful images that you have created. You will not be forgotten, just missed untill one day your friends can once again join you and share the peace we pray that you have found in the final rendering room. Dallas

So they are finally accepting clever, intelligent and humorous artists in heaven now. Maybe things are looking up for us now. My thoughts are with your friends and family. Our loss is heaven's gain. God Bless.

Being on this side of the veil I don't know what we will be doing on the other side. But, I happen to believe that everyone will have satisfying, rewarding, exciting and FUN work to do (only it won't seem like work). Maybe Don will be in the "design" department to prepare amazing new realms and hideaways for all the rest of us to visit when we get there. Only now he will have UNLIMITED resources and time! Ah, Don. I will miss you and your works here SOOOO much. Thank you very very much for filling our hearts and minds with so many of your incredible visions! My heart breaks that you are gone from us.

You imagination takes flight even as your candle burns out. So sad to see such a brilliant mind leave. We will miss you. A million thanks!

Classic tatro - wacky, surreal and yet strangely practical, if you look at it through a distorted lens. I'll miss these.

I left my farewell comments on other images, but I feel compelled to join in this great outpouring of memories. Back when I was learning Poser 2.0 and Bryce 2.0, and the world wide web was still in diapers.....I searched the net for "Free 3D models" and came across Don Tatro's fabulous Creepy the Clown site! I was immediately charmed by Don's bizzare creation, and stunned to see, not only Don's large and inspirational gallery, but galleries of dozens of other artists, using his Creepy Clown model, creating thier own chapters! Don embraced all of these with the same enthusiasm as he put into his own work. So naturally I submitted my own entry, and was thrilled to see it added to the archive! My first post, anywhere!!! But that's not all! Don made over 800 models from scratch, and shares everyone of them with us!!! His creativity and genius was only matched by his kindness and generosity. I am moved by this outpouring of memories of Don and his work, so I had to share mine too. Rest well old friend! See you in the funnies....
