There are two things that I really like about this picture: First, the lighting and atmosphere. It sets a special mood showing the aftermath of a sandstorm. Next, The smooth surfaces and related colors depict sand and dust perfectly. Finally, The entire composition balances very well bringing together all of the beautifully set elements. Excellent work.

The sand is the theme here - dark as the mood may be, there is that feeling that the worst is over. I still like the subtle roughness on the otherwise smooth sand.
Agree with choronr...a wonderful mood is created with these atmo settings in combination with xlt sand surfaces.
