Nice going, Simon! Stark, and almost medieval in appearance - and one of the most striking "fractal trees" I've seen - complete with wasps!

I love this image, Simon; it's very appealing and strikes a complimentary blance between the interesting fractal form and design, the dark and light colouring and the exquisite textures- both fractal and background. So excellent!

Wonderful design and colouring Simon, as pscott pointed out they do compliment each so other well. I also like the subtle texturing which is perfect. The only distraction to me is the inner background areas showing through where you didn't continue the lovely soft shadow, seems to jump out at me and take away from the overall depth of this wonderful image. Beautiful work :)

This is not your usual style - but I always love to see new things :-) The texture on the fractal, the nice background, background texture not visible on the fractal, the olive shading - all creates the impression of a mature work, of something made and not mainly found.

This is unbelievable! I love the way that the points in the fractal seem to be inbedding themselves into the background. The texture and the detailing is magnificent. I really really like this.
