Description
There have been requests for something more light and alive in my art. Well this is about as light as it get's right now. I have to follow my moods to create anything. Hopefully there will be some sun in my life again soon!
I got chastized by a few people about the Waterhouse pictures I did, so I stopped. May I should just tell them to stick it and follow my heart through the great masters.

Hey, Audra! Well, it's different from your last few postings and more like some of your older works. I like the wings and he's wonderful except for the hairy body? I don't think angels are supposed to have hairy bodies, are they? I like the blacked out eyes. It reminds me of that movie Prophecy!
NEVER let anyone tell you what kind of art to create...go with your soul. And if they don't like it, YEAH, tell 'em to Stick It!!!! I love what you do, so please don't stop doing it :-)

I think you should render ONLY images that I like and approve! I'll IM you a specific list of what I want!! LOL!! Seriously, I would never dream of telling somebody what to create! Perhaps the people who were concerned with your dark art were concerned with you as a person dealing with depressing issues that came through your art. Yes? If that is the case they are not telling you what to do with your art, merely that they know a different side of you, perhaps a more beautiful side in the sense of lightness of being. I know--blah,blah,blah,eh? But in all seriousness for the art itself--it's stunningly thought provoking in its imagery! Keep up the good work!
Telling an artist what they should create with their talent is rediculous. If they want to do it let them. So there grins... this is wonderful, and you just follow your own heart.

Deep Audra, Very deep. Dont be shackled by the limitations of others, if its concern for you Great! but the creative spark is divine dont let others limit you. and remember. Imatation is the greatist/sincerest form of flatterry you can show to someone.
I think you should keep on doing what your doing because as far as im concerned its just fine - better than fine in fact - its fab! Your lighting is great, the post work is georgous and the characters and poses are really cool! dont listen to anyone but your muse ( who ever he or she is!)

There were other's that IM'ed me about the Waterhouse works, they were not very nice. Please feel free to be honest any time, how else am I to learn! ;)
