Definitely my kind of place for solitude, a picnic of bread, wine and cheese, and my sketchpad and of course a great book! This is serene and subtle in its glorious beauty!!
(That bright trio of leaves and burnt upper end distract badly from the rest of the scene more than they add atmosphere of light, we can afford to crop a goodly band off of the top at the least to rid those leaves, that will hide some of the soft sharpness and still keep the story it tells.) How I love a good forest.
