Amen, Though I'm still no fan of George, I can definitely applaud your friend!!!
Thanks so much for sharing a wonderful story of courage and hope!
Good one dude!!
I hear of it in the news. but not on abc ;It was the talk radio shows i hear of it. Rush and others like him. I am real happy for your friend and thanks for showing us this image.
Steve .... thoughtful and well done piece .... my hope is some day(?) it won't matter what party a president is from, but what he/she stands for.... the 'human spirit' knows no party .... I,too, join in a standing salute to all men and women serving.
Excellent tribute to those who gave and are giving there lives for others, as Jesus said no greater love is there than to lay down ones life for another!
One tough guy. It is good to know that there are those who will give their lives for what we take for granted, and just as good that there are people who recognize the effeort in a good way. I salute our people of uniform and look forward to joining them.
Actually, I did hear this story on the news (the real news, not Rush and such). Nice of the President to take time out for your friend, although he has yet to visit the troops laid up at Walter Reed medical center last I checked.
