Description

Part 1 I looked out the window. I didn't see any animals. I opened the door slowly as to not disturb anything. I looked a round to find the right areas. I put a 10-32 screw into a tree. A few 10 penny nails in a mud patch. I like to come here from time to time. It's so primeval and yet beautiful. The plants are really something to see. You just would not believe the numbers and sizes of these plants. Well time to go home again. I walked back to the door, opened it and stepped inside. Part 2 I looked at what was on the lab table. No, no way could this be.. How? I better get Phil in here. I showed Phil what I had and the test data that came back. He agreed that this just could not be. These samples Carbon dated out to 46,000 years ago. How? How could these things be there in that time period? We both decide to keep our mouths shut. As I slipped the items into a sample bag I marked and dated each one. Fossil Tree and Screw 44,000 BC. Rock and Nails 44,000 BC. I looked over at Phil and said. The only way that those can be here in these items would be if you had a time machine... Not much chance of that...
