As I said in the forum, I can see this as a person who's very confident and sure of herself, thinking she knows who she is. Yet the reality is cracking, peeling, beginning to reveal a new identity deeper than what she has known. So it represents a very exciting (although possibly awkward) time of her life as the old must be let go for the new to emerge. Wonderful work!
You have a fascinating way of depicting the beauty and the pain at the same time. It takes a lot of wisdom to do this.
