What an exotic sight! I don't think I'd want to live my life being pink, lol...but they seem to do okay with it. Thanks for the smile. :)
stolen from miami vice??? :-) great shot of this nice Flamingos !!!
And beautiful they are!
You know, they actually change colours according to their feeling and when they want to impress their ladies ;) they become bright red in the mating season and they're a real beauty then - the look real flames walking on sticks, lol Guess that's what's got them their name of "Flamingos" :) Wonderful pic! :)
I think they are one of my favourite birds. They always look so little like a bird and so much like a creative piece of candyfloss living art on a red straw. Excellent capture - different poses!
HEEEEEYYYY Some of those Flamingos have only ONE LEG!!! LOLOL Nice photo Shadow. This one's in the pink! OOOOOOHHHH Sorry! JUst HAD to get that bad pun out! LOLOL
Shadow my friend, I hope this real world stuff is nothing serious, and that your return is quick. This is a bueatiful shot of our Florida Lotto bird, just wish the damn thing would fly my way LOL, great work Shadow, see you when you get back...........John
I developed an empathy for flamingos after reading Alice in Wonderland - I was so incensed at the fictional ill-treatment of these beautifully plumaged creatures! Your lovely photograph helps to redress the balance and give them the respect they deserve.
