Description

We all know how inaccurate 10m and 30m dems are. So I was really surprised and happy that this one had the detail it did.. This is called Cochise Head. It is located in the S/W corner of Az and was named after the Apache Chief Cochise.. The details are not as good as in a photo, but for a dem this is great. There is a lot of history around this area due to the Indians and the wars. Some Indians would call this a sacred place, and some didn't care, but they all showed the respect due to this area for being named after the great Apache War Chief.. No post work. All TG

You can give more details by working more on surface mapping (you can use overlays too) ! Try to give different bumpiness/scale depth settings.

Frank, this is very good work. I have one in my gallery called 'Confluence' that this terrain reminds me of. Your work just gets better and better!

This certainly looks like the mountains in that area, no question about it.
