Description
I wondered what would happen if...
-*-
I made a mirrored room, full of tubes going everywhere, then rendered with Premium AA (64/pixel) and DOF. ...Now, I know! Regular AA render in about 50 minutes, but with options ON about 40 hours!

[2004/04/14: Thanks, everyone! Not to worry, I didn't suffer or have any anxiety at all, I was on vacation for 90 hours! When I returned, it was there waiting. I'd like to do some experiments to see the time/quality tradeoff.]

Jim, you've got a delightfully creative mind and a great eye. Fun pic. Don't you wish someone would release Bryce 6 with a faster rendering engine?!
Apparently,4 is faster, these things are usually worth the wait though, right? The lighting is sweet thanx to those tweaks..great job!
That's a long rendertime. Will it be noticed if you reduce the amount of AA a bit?
totally tubular. Depth of field is very effective
Looks like the underside of my desk that I spent a good part of the day unwrapping things. Excellent rendering of the chaos...
Really excellent scene. but 40 HOURS! what did you do in the mean time? ;)
Not a minute wasted. Great colors and assembly
I have two possible comments for this one - the first: gnarly! (first time I think I have a legitimate use for that!); the second, does rochr know you snuck a spy cam into his place? (grin)
Amazing work! love the depth here! Killer image!
I don't know how I missed this one. I love it!
